Objectives:           We will enhance our learning of the 1970s and 80s by learning more about our 39th president, Jimmy Carter. We will watch a short film and then take an interactive docent-guided tour of the museum which includes artifacts from his presidency. We will also further our study of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the

Civil Rights Movement after having a lunch break at the Varsity.

Lunch Plans:        The Varsity – Bring money or bring your own lunch. (Chaperones, check the far end servers at the Varsity for quicker service. Sit upstairs.)

Dress:                    Casual enrichment day–Please check the handbook online or your child’s agenda/planner for details. (Blue shirt with blue Perimeter sweatshirt!)

Other:                   Parent Chaperones:  You will be responsible for 3-5 students who will stay with you until they are returned to a PCS staff member at school. This includes keeping up with and disciplining them as needed during the day – including lunchtime. Please keep your group together at all times!

Thank you for your willingness to make this day a great learning experience for our students.

Students are not allowed to bring or use electronics of any kind at any time during the enrichment day. Students may bring money for the gift shops.
